On August 17, Objects of Art Shows will present Pop-Up: Vintage to Contemporary, a new three-day event timed to coincide with Santa Fe Indian Market. The inaugural show will feature a variety of artwork that, as the title of the show suggests, ranges from the historic to modern pieces created by living artists.

Vendors will be on-hand offering artwork in many mediums at El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe, located within the Railyard District. The event begins with a preview night on August 17, from 6 to 9 p.m.. The show continues August 18 and 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both the preview night and the following show dates require tickets which can be purchased online or at the door.
In addition to the vendors—one of which is Bonhams, which will be showing upcoming auction material—the show will be presenting an encore of the special exhibition Strands Across Time: Historic Southwestern Textiles, which will be carried over from Objects of Art & American Indian/Tribal from the previous weekend. Both shows, as well as the Whitehawk Antique Indian & Ethnographic Art Show, are produced by Objects of Art Shows, run by Kim Martindale and John Morris, longtime promoters of the arts.
